Witnessing Briggate as a collective of differing options and individuals brought together in conflict. I felt that an academic social space was lacking. This diversity, of not just social groups but economical groups, will be necessary to survive recession and remain a heart to the city. It serves in my mind, that introducing something more than retail will be a welcome step in producing a more social centred post-money Briggate.
