The annual TED event in Long beach California brings 1500 of the worlds greatest minds to watch and discuss 20 seminars in the hope to be influenced and discover relationships between professions previously unthought-of. To expand the increasing audience beyond the auditorium in America, ‘simulcast’ events have been set up, inviting more local experts to watch the lectures across an internet connection as they happen. This is the story of the Leeds branch.
